a waterslide event went down in Clinton which was organized by the towns parks and recreations Association. The event was free to enter for all ages and ran from 10AM to 6Pm.
water for the inflatable water slides was provided by Clintons water district. Families from Clinton, as well as surrounding communities, came together to slip and slide away while also enjoying some delicious food all while cooling off.
"We did this last year and it was such a great hit that we wanted to do it again this year" says Clinton Parks and Rec President April Paul, "we have four inflatables, water slides and we've been very busy all day today."
"We do a lot of community events and word gets out, and the Clinton Water District contacted us and this was their idea," says board member Jessica Begin, "so we've really work well with other groups in the community, the fire department came and put on the fire hose, and kids and adults really enjoyed the cooldown. It really brings the community together, and we do everything possible to do free events.
