a fundraiser event known as Benny's Benefit was held at stone tree farm and cidery in Unity. Benny Erikson was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, an uncommon type of cancer.
Brian Erikson, family member and co-owner of Stone Tree Farm helped organize the event. Customers and vendors alike created a warm and positive atmosphere, which included raffles, cotton candy and dinosaur themed activities on top of more family fun.
"So we reached out to a couple vendors, we have a bouncy house here, rolled ice cream, food truck doing barbeque, live music back to back and its all to raise money for Benny and the family in need," says Erikson.
"It means the world. We couldn't do it without the support we've gotten from everybody" says Brandon Erikson, Father of Benny.
"It's quite overwhelming. We're very appreciative of all the happenings here and that keep going on throughout his fight" says Courtney Erikson, Benny's Mom.
All proceeds from the event will do directly towards benny's treatment. For those who are interested in donating, a GoFundMe link can be found here
